Common questions
Can I try without an account?
Yes — no sign-up required. Paste Markdown or HTML and hit Publish. Anonymous documents expire after 24 hours. Sign up for Pro or Pro Plus to unlock a private dashboard where your saved docs never expire. Note: even on paid plans, documents you publish publicly still expire after 24 hours — only private docs are permanent.
What happens to my documents if I cancel?
You keep full access through the end of your billing period. After that, docs over the Free tier's 25 KB limit or stored in your private dashboard enter a 30-day read-only grace period, then are permanently deleted (oldest first). We'll email you before anything is deleted. Re-subscribing before the grace period ends cancels any scheduled deletion.
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately — Stripe charges a prorated amount for the rest of the billing period, then your new rate at renewal. Downgrades apply at the end of the current period. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
What content types are supported?
Markdown and HTML. Markdown renders with GitHub Flavored Markdown (tables, task lists, syntax highlighting). HTML renders inside a sandboxed iframe so your styles and scripts display correctly.
What is a vanity slug?
A custom URL for your document — e.g. grtwo.app/d/my-project-spec/ instead of a random string. Available on Pro and Pro Plus, settable at publish time or from your document settings.
